At The Dog Stop of Middletown, we believe pets are family. Our mission is to ensure your pets are well taken care of and, most importantly, have a blast while staying safe here at our 8,000 sq ft dog-park. Our staff will go the extra mile to ensure your pet gets the care they need to have a great visit and return home to you a happier pup.
We understand that today’s busy lifestyles make it difficult for us to give our pets as much attention, exercise, nurturing, and stimulation necessary for a happy and healthy pet. The original idea for opening The Dog Stop of Middletown came from owner, Jim Henry, opening up his home to his grand-puppies when their mom had to work. He found that not only did they enjoy the special attention and socialization they received while being with his 3 dogs, but he wanted to bring individualized care to other pet owners too. That’s when he met the owners of The Dog Stop and set off to bring this unique dog care service to the residents of Middletown. Jim found the perfect spot for this new venture at the heart of Middletown in Bunker Hill Center right off of Rt 301 & Bunker Hill Rd.

Our brand new recreation facility is equipped with state of the art fiberglass reinforced plastic Mason Kennels that give a homelike feel and vinyl fencing to decrease the risk of scratching that occurs with typical chain link. Permatek Floor Coatings and durable turf play areas promote safety for puppy joints and paws, while also making surfaces easy to clean to provide the highest sanitation levels for your four legged friend.

Having opened in December of 2017, we are excited to bring our services to the growing community of Middletown. Whether you’re just looking for a place for your pet to socialize, have a spa day, or a place for them to stay when you’re away, we are dedicated to making a memorable, tailored, and interactive experience for each one of our four-legged friends!
